Step 5: Beta Test and Refine

Beta testing is your team’s opportunity to test-drive the functionality of your new application. The goal of this phase is to run the application through your end-to-end business process. This is the time to verify that all features, capabilities, performance, security, data integrity, and work flow meet with your needs and expectations.

• The objective of the testing and refinement phase is to identify any and all issues that could prevent the new application from being used successfully in production.
• Our beta testing feedback methodology is similar to the prototype design phase. We anticipate frequent software releases accompanied by paper annotated versions of the application. There will be multiple iterations based upon your detailed review and comments.
• Inputsoft will continue to make refinements to the application until everyone is satisfied that the new application is ready to deploy into production.
